Almas ups stake in Galle Face Capital Partners to 10%

Almas Holdings Ltd., upped its stake in Galle Face Capital Partners PLC to over 10% last week.

The move follows Almas acquiring around 5% stake on 7 August.

It bought 1.35 million shares at Rs. 69 each, and a further 159 shares at Rs. 72.90 each and 8,722 shares at Rs. 73.

Prior to last week’s purchase, Almas held 1.54 million shares or 5.33% stake, whilst its latest stake is 10.04% or 2.9 million shares.

Part of Renuka Group, Galle Face Capital Partners PLC is one of the oldest companies listed on the Colombo Stock Exchange. The company actively manages a portfolio of listed equity, debt instruments, private equity, and investments in alternate asset classes.
