Alliance Finance to raise Rs. 2 b via listed Social Bonds

Alliance Finance Company PLC will raise Rs.2 billion via listed Social Bonds, now up for grabs.

The Colombo Stock Exchange has approved in principle the issuance of 20 million listed, rated, unsecured, senior, and redden able Social Bonds of Rs. 100 each worth Rs. 2 billion.

There will be two types of Bonds: Type A (fixed) of 4 year tenor with coupon rate of 11.15% (AER of 11.15%) payable annually and B: Fixed, 5 year tenor at 11.40% (AER 11.40%) payable annually.

The official date of opening is 21 August but the issue can be subscribed from now on.
