  • The definitive resource for marketing graduates in Sri Lanka

The Association of International Marketing Graduates in Sri Lanka (AIMG) was formulated by veterans of the Sri Lankan marketing fraternity. AIMG is a resource rich in prospects for those with international marketing qualifications. This marketing body offers mentoring, counselling, training, workshops and networking opportunities to its fraternity. 

Many marketing professionals will have the opportunity to reap the benefits of being a part of AIMG. The platform while hosting a common ground for marketers across Sri Lanka to come together benefits greatly from its peers with over 35 years of industry experience. 

AIMG comprises some of the most hallowed names in marketing in Sri Lanka. A veteran marketer Deepal Sooriyarachchi who is currently an independent Director of AIA Insurance and Singer Sri Lanka PLC, Pan Asia Power PLC and Siyapatha PLC has been appointed as the Honorary President of AIMG by the newly-appointed Board which comprises Sujith Silva – Managing Director – Inspire Holdings Ltd. as the Chairman; Samantha Amal Sumedha Fernando – Consultant and Business Strategist – Digital Marketing and Branding; Pradeep Roshan Kaluarachchi – Consultant – Strategic Marketing, Business and Corporate Strategy and Customer Experience; Kanchana Karunagama – Chief Manager – Personal Financial Services – Hatton National Bank PLC; Sumudu Ishara Thanthirigoda – Chief Executive Officer – Keells Food Products PLC; and Anuradha Edirisinghe – Country Head – Unilever Food Solutions – Sri Lanka and Maldives – Unilever Sri Lanka Ltd. 

The Management Committee comprises Menaka Wanniarachcchi – Director Operations/Marketing – National Chamber of Exporters; Niroshini Rathnasinghe – Deputy Manager – Channel Management Department – People’s Bank; Amritha Allahakoon – Business Development Manager – Lanka Cucine Ltd.; Mahesh Rathnayake – Executive – Hatton National Bank; and Saviru Rajapakse – Business Development Associate – Hatton National Bank.

AIMG will connect young and senior members and create a platform to share knowledge and learning by conducting various events, programmes led by marketing experts and offer excellent networking opportunities amongst an esteemed audience. Further, the training programmes will focus on developing skills and expertise of marketers in their journey to the board room.
