2014’s first IPO: Millennium Housing aims to raise Rs. 192 m

The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) has approved in principle an application submitted by Millennium Housing Developers for the listing of 16 million ordinary voting shares (with the option to issue a further 16 million in the event of an oversubscription) at Rs. 6 per share. Being the first IPO for the New Year, Millennium Housing aims to raise Rs. 192 million. The investing public can subscribe to the issue from 8 January onwards whilst the official opening of the IPO is 28 January. Managers to the issue is Arpico Ataraxia Asset Management Ltd. and registrars to the issue is Corporate Arcade Ltd.
