20 keen on CSE CEO job

Around 20 persons have applied for the post of CEO of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE). Deadline for applications closed on 15 August whilst the CSE’s Human Resources Committee processed the submissions yesterday for the purpose of short listing. With the search narrowed to the more qualified lot from the applicants, the CSE is expected to call selected for an interview shortly. Ending a 23-year stint at the Colombo Bourse, incumbent CEO Surekha Sellahewa gave notice effective end October, prompting the post to be advertised.
