The Fort Café by Tasty Caterers opens in Colombo’s business hub

With over four decades in Sri Lanka’s food industry, Tasty Caterers recently opened The Fort Café by Tasty at the Australia Building on York Street, marking the brand’s expansion into a café space offering culinary excellence and a warm, inviting atmosphere.

Designed with a contemporary aesthetic, the café offers a versatile setting for any time of day, from a quick breakfast before work to a leisurely lunch or afternoon coffee.

The menu features Tasty Caterers’ signature dishes with new creations especially for the café experience, ranging from light snacks and main courses to desserts. Beverages include premium coffee, artisanal teas, and a high tea menu available on request.

“Our aim is to create a space where customers can enjoy familiar flavours in a modern setting,” said Tasty Caterers Chairperson Kanthi Jayamaha. “The menu has been developed to suit the busy working demographic in the Fort area, with new weekend offerings to follow.” Open seven days a week, The Fort Café is an excellent location for casual meetings, business lunches, private events, or coffee breaks. Its contemporary interior caters to professionals, shoppers, and visitors in Colombo Fort.
