Serendib Flour Mills (SFML), a wholly owned subsidiary of the Dubai-headquartered leading diversified family businesses Al Ghurair, recently hosted a media tour of its state-of-the-art facility located at the Colombo Port. 

The visit showcased SFML’s continued commitment to elevating Sri Lanka’s food security, innovation, and sustainable practices within the flour manufacturing industry.

For the past 15 years, SFML said it has been a trusted cornerstone of Sri Lanka’s food industry, driven by the overarching purpose of ‘Nourishing the Nation.’ 

SFML’s commitment to excellence is evident in its utilisation of pioneering Swiss Buhler technology, empowering them to deliver the finest quality flour and introduce ground-breaking innovations to the Sri Lankan market. The company’s diverse portfolio currently boasts over 20 flour varieties catering to a wide range of clientele, from artisan bakers to large-scale manufacturers and households. Recent additions include the Premium Flour line for superior bakery products, Adi Shakthi Fortified flour for plantation communities, and Fibre Plus to address non-communicable diseases.
