Redefining gin: IDL launches world-class range of gins made in Sri Lanka

Ascot Regal, the latest addition to International Distillers Ltd.’s (IDL) extensive portfolio of premium beverages, showcases a distinctive range of premium gins, with dry gin as its main brand complemented by three enticing flavours. Unveiled during an exclusive launch event at the Hilton Colombo’s Lotus Lawn on 3 and 4 November, Ascot Regal introduces an innovative trio of flavours, Blueberry Burst, Citrus Swirl, and Elderflower Infusion, crafted to elevate the Sri Lankan gin experience. 

The launch not only introduces a new line of premium gins but also serves as a celebration of IDL’s legacy of craftsmanship and dedication as one of Sri Lanka’s leading alcohol beverage manufacturing companies. Rooted in tradition but driven by innovation, IDL was founded as the local arm of Gilbey’s of London, part of the Grand Metropolitan Group, and has carved a distinguished niche in the premium alcohol beverages sector.
