Union Bank conducts successful SME workshop in Anuradhapura

Union Bank of Colombo PLC conducted its 42nd ‘Viyaparika Saviya’ customer training workshop recently. The program was held at the Central Bank Auditorium – Anuradhapura and organised in partnership with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka. The program was well attended by both existing and potential entrepreneurs. K.H. Nandasena – Minister of Co-operative, Trade and Food, Industries, Textiles Industries and Rural Development, Tourism and Housing, Sunil Lankathilake – Assistant Governor, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, H. Amarathunga – Director Provincial Officers Monitoring Department, Central Bank of Sri Lanka and a number of other distinguished invites also participated at the workshop. The program was conducted by Geeth Rajapaksha from the National Productivity Secretariat, P.R. Ariyarathne and R.M.A. Premamali from Central Bank of Sri Lanka and Janaka Edirisinghe from Union Bank. Union Bank continues to strengthen the bank’s focus in the SME sector and deliver enhanced financial solutions to small and medium businesses.
