Standard Chartered partners with Arpico to launch first-ever co-branded retail credit card

Standard Chartered is set to partner with Arpico Supercentre to launch the island’s first ever retail co-branded credit card. At an event which will take place today (18), the two companies will introduce the card to consumers. Standard Chartered has 35 successful co-brands and alliances across geographies and its partnership with Arpico Supercentre will add to the value and diversity of its product offering. Sanjay Wijemanne, Head of Consumer Banking at Standard Chartered commenting on the launch of the first ever co-branded retail credit card said: “We have included some attractive features to the card. Cardholders have the benefit of earning the highest number of points for every Rs. 100 spent at Arpico Supercentre and more points elsewhere, including overseas purchases. We are proud to be partnering with a premier retail brand to afford our customers a better return on their rupee.” The Standard Chartered-Arpico co-branded retail credit card will also provide access to cardholders to special discounts and privileges at Arpico Supercentre as well as the year round special discounts from Standard Chartered at over 500 merchant outlets island wide, and other facilities available to the bank’s credit cardholders.
