Sri Lanka Insurance launches special motor policy for members of GDSA

An MOU was signed between Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation (SLIC) & Government Dental Surgeons Association (GDSA) for an exclusive Motor insurance package for the members of the Association of Dental Doctors which was launched recently. The special motor insurance scheme covers Private Cars, Private Dual Purpose Vehicles & Double Cabs manufactured within 15 years, which are used for purpose of private, social, domestic, & pleasure purposes insured under a comprehensive Motor insurance policy. This special motor insurance package will cover vehicles against all accidental damages, Theft, Internal Fire, & for other additional covers such as Riot & Strike and Natural Disaster Cover (Cyclone Storm, Flood, Tidal Waves, Hurricane, Tornado, Landslide, Typhoon, Hail Storm, Tempest, Volcanic Eruption, Tsunami, Seaquake, Earth slip, & Earthquake for an attractive premium In addition the package offers unlimited cover for third party bodily injury or death, Third Party Property Damage up to a maximum of Rs 500,000 for private and dual purpose cabs and unlimited third party cover for private cars. All vehicles insured above a certain limit will be eligible for the “Call & Go” facility in case of an accident. The scheme will also offer the reimbursement of rental charges up to a maximum of ten days for vehicles insured over one million depending on repair time.
