SLII’s Inter Insurance Company Quiz Competition today

The Sri Lanka Insurance Institute announced the Quiz Competition organised for its members and insurance companies, today (14 May) at the Excel World, Colombo 10.

The event is titled ‘Inter Insurance Company – Quiz Competition 2015’ and is open to all member companies of The Insurance Association of Sri Lanka and The Sri Lanka Insurance Brokers’ Association is entitled to be represented by two combined teams.

The event will bring about a good rapport amongst the insurance community and encourage interaction and fellowship. The competition is expected to create a platform to impart and exchange knowledge on varied subjects including Insurance, History, Geography and Science, Literature and Entertainment, Current Affairs and IQ/Logical Reasoning. As the premier professional body of the insurance education in Sri Lanka, this initiative will fulfil the objective of education and professional development of those engaged in insurance and to create a social forum for its members.

The expected participation is around 30 teams each with five members who will face the quiz master together and write the answers in a group effort.

The Sri Lanka Insurance Institute (SLII) established in 1981 is the education arm of the industry. Its initiative in creating a healthy mix of competition and fun is certain to attract a lot of interest in the insurance fraternity.
