Singhe Hospitals opens for trading

Singhe Hospitals Ltd. was listed on the DiriSavi Board of the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) on 21 April. Singhe Hospitals Chairman/CEO A.M. Weerasinghe rang the ceremonial opening bell, to begin trading for the day. He was joined by Singhe Hospitals Managing Director, Navinda Weerasinghe, Marketing Director Lakshika Weerasinghe and Accountant Asanka De Silva. On the first day of trading Singhe Hospitals’ shares opened at Rs. 2.7, closed at Rs. 2.50, and reached a high of Rs 2.80. Singhe Hospitals raised Rs. 250 million by way of an Initial Public Offer of 100,000,000 shares at Rs. 2.50.
