Seylan Bank has already awarded a total of 7890 winners in its blockbuster ‘Thagi Pita Thagi’ draw since its grand launch in October last year.

Hailing from different parts of Sri Lanka, the lucky customers have won from an array of prizes such as monthly Rs. 1 million, motor bikes, LCD TVs, refrigerators, home entertainment systems, sofa sets, lap tops, fully automatic washing machines, four-burner gas cookers and gold sovereigns each month.

The most recent batch of winners received their awards from Chairman Eastman Narangoda, Executive Director R. Nadarajah and General Manager/CEO Kapila Ariyaratne at the Bank’s head office in Kollupitiya.

They were MAC Adihetty (Ja-Ela Branch), DDS Weerasinghe (Ratnapura Branch), SSC Atapattu (Eppawala Mobile Unit), V. Vijayarajah (Batticaloa Branch), Mr. and Mrs. H.N.P Nanayakkara (joint winners – Kottawa Branch), M.W.N Siripala (Horana Branch), D.N.U Mendis (Seylan Card Centre), J. Moosa (Badulla Branch), S. Vijayakamalan (Trincomalee Branch) and K.K.S.K Senanayake (Moratuwa Branch).

‘Seylan Thagi Pita Thagi’ has one of the most unique prize schemes offered by any Bank and is linked to eight of Seylan’s banking products. They are Seylan Sure (personal savings and current accounts), Tikiri Plus (minor savings accounts), Fixed Deposits, NRFC (savings and fixed deposits), Cool Cash (youth accounts), Pawning, Credit Cards and Debit Cards, most of which have their own inbuilt rewards and benefit schemes.

‘Seylan Thagi Pita Thagi’ goes several steps further and offers gifts over and above the customary gifts on offer, thus taking the concept of rewards to a totally different platform. It also has 20 guaranteed monthly consolation winners, branch wise, in addition to the other lucky monthly winners, thus totaling 2620 winners per month.  The overall winner selected from the grand draw at the end of the six-month promotion wins a super luxury house worth Rs. 15 million.

Seylan Bank’s General Manager/CEO Kapila Ariyaratne underscored the fact that this is proof of the Bank’s commitment to constantly deliver greater value to its customers through innovative value propositions. “This further demonstrates that Seylan Bank IS the Bank with a Heart and is fully dedicated to serving its millions of customers across the country,” he added.
