People’s Bank to rehabilitate and construct priority roads

An agreement was signed between People’s Bank and the Road Development Authority on Wednesday to rehabilitate and construct priority roads in the country in line with the Mahinda Chinthana Program, at a ceremony held at the Road Development Authority, Battaramulla. Under the agreement People’s Bank will support the construction and rehabilitation of the Katuwana-Alupotdeniya-Panamura Road. Deputy Minister Ports and Highways Minister Nirmala Kotalawala and officials of the People’s Bank and Road Development were also present at the event
