People’s Bank rewards July winner of the Jaya Sri 2013

People’s Bank recently rewarded the winner of the Jaya Sri Grand Draw 2013 for the month of July with a brand new Suzuki Alto. H. Piyadasa from Deniyaya speaking about the win commented: “I opened up my People’s Bank account in 1975. Since then I have been a regular customer. I work as a tea plucker. Whatever amount I could save after the daily expenses, as well all my EPF savings, were deposited in the People’s Bank account. Today this savings account has won me a brand new vehicle. I recommend that everyone starts to save at People’s Bank and become a winner at the Jaya Sri Draw.” Monthly draws will be held throughout the year for Jaya Sri 2013 which will end with a grand draw. At the monthly draw, a Suzuki Alto Car, 24 cash prizes each worth Rs. 100,000 and 690 cash prizes each worth Rs. 10,000 can be won every month. In order to qualify for the monthly draw of Jaya Sri 2013, customers have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 for a month in any of the People’s Bank’s savings accounts while maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000 throughout the year (including the month of December) will provide customers with an opportunity to enter the year-end grand draw. Every additional deposit of Rs. 10,000 or Rs. 50,000 will earn additional chances of winning. Every savings or current account holder except for minor accounts or NRFC accounts qualifies for this draw. At the year-end grand draw, two super-luxury houses each worth of Rs. 10 million can be won or the winners can choose to receive the value in cash.
