People’s Bank rewards Jaya Sri 2013 winner for May

People’s Bank recently rewarded the first winner of the Jaya Sri Grand Prize Draw 2013, for the month of May. The winner, Udaya Kumara, a resident of Aluth Wewa who banks at the People’s Bank Habarana Branch, won a brand new Suzuki Alto. Kumara, expressing his views about the win, said: “I am very happy that I won this prize without spending a cent. Even to win a lottery, I still would have had to spend at least Rs. 20 on ticket. I was able to apply for this draw while saving money and receiving interest and other benefits. My whole family is very excited about the win. I recommend that everyone participates in the People’s Bank’s Jaya Sri 2013 Grand Draw.” Monthly draws which are scheduled to be held throughout the year for Jaya Sri 2013 will end with a grand draw. At the monthly draws, a Suzuki Alto Car, 24 cash prizes each worth Rs. 100,000 and 690 cash prizes, each worth Rs. 10,000 will be given away throughout the year. In order to qualify for the monthly draw of Jaya Sri 2013, customers have to maintain a minimum balance of Rs. 10,000 for a 30 day period in any of the People’s Bank’s savings accounts while maintaining a minimum balance of Rs. 50,000 throughout the year will entitle customers to enter the Year End Grand Draw. Deposits of Rs. 50,000 or Rs. 100,000 will earn additional chances of winning. Every savings or current account holder, except for Minor accounts and NRFC accounts qualifies for this draw. At the Year End Grand Draw, two super-luxury houses each worth Rs. 10 million can be won or the winners can choose to receive the value in cash.
