Multi Finance appoints RAM Ratings as new rating agency

Multi Finance PLC (MPF), one of the long-standing finance companies in Sri Lanka, declared that the company has withdrawn from Fitch Ratings Lanka. Accordingly, the company has assigned RAM Ratings Lanka as its rating agency from 1 January for the company’s periodic rating reviews. Further, Multi Finance confirms that they stopped providing information to Fitch Ratings Lanka from 1 January for any assessment on behalf of the company and future rating analytical coverage will be provided by RAM Ratings (Lanka) Ltd.
