LAUGFS opens foreign money exchange facility at Kohuwala

LAUGFS Supermarkets Limited a subsidiary of the LAUGFS Holdings Limited introduced its second foreign money changing facility at its outlet at Kohuwala.

LAUGFS Supermarkets Limits is the only supermarket chain in the country that offers foreign money changing service to the general public at its outlets.

Speaking at the opening ceremony the Central Bank Deputy Controller of the Exchange K.S Thilakaratne said that the new facility would make immense contribution for the general public conveniently change their foreign currencies.

LAUGFS Supermarkets Ltd Director and General Manager Takura Gunasinghe said that it is indeed great occasion for LAUGFS Supermarkets Limited where it’s is the only supermarket chain that offer foreign money changing facilities.

LAUGFS Supermarkets said that soon it will expand its money changing centres to its Havelock Road outlet and other selected outlets. Currently LAUGFS Supermarkets Ltd has 25 outlets in Colombo and its suburbs.
