Janashakthi launches Life Insurance Centre in Colombo 3

Janashakthi Insurance launched a dedicated Life Insurance Centre at No. 144, Galle Road, Colombo 3 on 3 June as part of the company’s 20th anniversary celebrations. The centrally-located Life centre will cater to all Janashakthi Life insurance customers. Honour was Director/Deputy CEO Jude Fernando. All heads of departments at Janashakthi and key staff members from the Life division were in attendance to celebrate the special occasion. At the same time, the new strategies for the Life insurance segment were unveiled at the event. Hashra Weerawardena, General Manager, Life (Sales & Operations), said: “With the opening of this new dedicated Life Centre, we hope to highlight some of Janashakthi’s most innovative products in the segment, such as ‘Janashakthi Life Unlimited,’ ‘Jeewitha Vardana’ and ‘LifeSaver,’ all of which are groundbreaking in the field. I am extremely happy to see over 150 insurance sales professionals out the industry who joined with us today with an unprecedented business launch. This was possible due to the commitment of Nilanga Karunarathne, our new Assistant General Manager – Life Sales (Corporate Sales & Strategic Channel Development) who was instrumental in launching the life strategic new channel. “I am also happy that another senior member, Hemakumara Dissanayake, also joined hands with us today as the Assistant General Manager – Life Sales (New Channel Development and Recruitment Management), to start up the Life new channel and overall recruitment management encompassing all zones across the island,” added Weerawardena.
