International recognition for AIA Area Development Manager

Demonstrating the high calibre of AIA Sri Lanka’s Wealth Planners’ Managers, Dileepa Ameendra, Area Development Manager of Tissamaharama was able to earn global recognition at the inaugural LAMP Asia conference of GAMA International in Kuala Lumpur in February by winning the Bronze award under 2013 Premier Agency Leader Category. The prestigious GAMA membership is the insurance team managers’ equivalent to the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) qualification and

Dileepa was the only Sri Lankan to receive this honour at the high-status event. GAMA recently extended to its Asian members the same industry best practices, networking opportunities, programs, products and learning tools that have helped build the leadership skills of the association’s US members for over 60 years. “We have just begun to help enrich Asian financial services field leaders with the knowledge they need to compete in an increasingly competitive and connected world,” said GAMA Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey R.
