Newest extension to the ‘My’ category ‘My Card’ protection Drive

HNB Assurance now offers an exclusive credit card protection for HNB credit card holders. HNB’s credit card customers now have the opportunity to live risk free, with their HNB credit cards by obtaining a comprehensive insurance cover from HNB Assurance to deal with many possible contingencies.

‘My card’ protection, covers against five different credit card risks for only Rs. 250 per annum. Customers can express their consent to debit their credit card account for the premium of Rs. 250 and activate the cover for a period of one year.

Benefits provided by ‘My card’ include a cover for the unauthorised use of credit card following the loss of a card up to Rs. 50,000. In the event of the credit card being lost along with the wallet/handbag, an additional amount of Rs. 5,000 will be paid to replace the wallet/handbag.

Expenses incurred to replace the passport, driving license and/or National Identity Card if lost along with the credit card whilst travelling abroad will also be met up to Rs. 10,000. If the cardholder suffers any bodily injuries during the theft of the card, another sum of Rs. 10,000 is payable to meet the cost of medical expenses. Further, the replacement cost of the credit card will also be borne by the policy up to Rs. 10,000.
