HNB Assurance holds awards ceremony for HNB branches

The innovative insurance solutions provider in Sri Lanka, HNB Assurance, recently held its Annual Awards ceremony for HNB branches for bancassurance at Cinnamon Lakeside Colombo, to recognise the top contributors from HNB network for the company in 2012.

The main focus of this event was to tribute the Hatton National Bank branches spread throughout the island that had extended an enormous contribution to the splendid business growth recorded by HNB Assurance.

This event was held under the distinguished patronage of Chief Guest Jonathan Alles, Director of HNB Assurance and Deputy Chief Executive Officer of HNB. HNB Assurance Managing Director Manjula de Silva, HNB Assurance General Manager – Marketing and Distribution Lalith Fernando together with many other officials representing the top management of HNB and HNB Assurance.

HNB has being in the banking industry for over 100 years and has continued to be an integral facet of HNB Assurance. HNB and HNB Assurance have thrived even in the most challenging times and continue to retain the trust and confidence of the nation with the stability of the bank and the resilient cohesive relationship with HNB Assurance.

HNBA has done remarkably well with a 43% profit growth in the year 2012, with the development of over 140 bancassurance outlets and General insurance and Life insurance and the continuous support given by the HNB branches has contributed immensely towards this growth.
