Housing Development Finance Corporation Bank of Sri Lanka (HDFC) has announced that it has resolved to appoint Fitch Rating Lanka Ltd. as its rating agency instead of its current rating agency, Ram Rating Lanka Ltd. (Lanka Rating Agency Ltd.).
LRA was recently suspended by the Securities and Exchange Commission since the firm had not forwarded a duly completed and therefore valid application for renewal of its licence.
