CSE to hold Current Market Conditions seminar

The Colombo Stock Exchange will hold a seminar titled ‘Current Market Conditions’ in order to highlight the importance of the 2016 Budget, on 14 December from 5.30 p.m. onwards at the World Trade Centre, Colombo.

The main speaker will be Candor Group CEO and Director Ravi Abeysuriya.

The program will consist of several stock broking firms presenting an overview of the 2016 Budget in order to highlight the impact of it in relation to the stock market. There will be discussions to examine the impact of the 2016 Budget on the various sectors of the economy and also emphasise on the sectors are expected to perform well in the following year, so that investors will have a basic idea of the economic environment, especially the stock market, within the following year.

It will also tackle the question of what assets should be held in a particular investor’s portfolio by analysing the policies mentioned in the Budget.

The seminar is free of charge but requires registration.
