The Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) relocated its Regional Office in Negombo to 2nd Floor, 72A 2/1, Old Chilaw Road, Negombo yesterday (7 October 2013). The new location provides its patrons with more comforts, added convenience and greater accessibility to carryout investments in the equity market. The operation of regional branch offices is part of a strategy to reach out to domestic individual investors by expanding the CSE services throughout the country. The CSE established its first branch in Matara in 1999, followed by Kandy, Kurunegala, Negombo, Jaffna, Anuradhapura and Ratnapura respectively.
