  • Addresses top management as a thought leader
In another sign that the corporate world is taking note of the role Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB) is playing towards the creation of a responsible, credit-worthy workforce, CRIB was this week invited as a Thought Leader to address the senior management of several leading companies. Veteran banker and Director General Manager of CRIB Gamini Karunaratne delivered an insightful presentation on financial discipline and the usefulness of CRIB’s iReport to the directors and senior management of Janashakthi Insurance PLC, Kelsey Development PLC, First Capital PLC and Dunamis Capital PLC. Karunaratne illustrated how credit information not only helps individuals as a cutting-edge tool for personal growth but creates a robust society as a whole. The lecture was part of a series to broaden the perspective of senior managers on national, social and economic issues allowing them to be more engaged while enhancing management skills and was initiated by corporate consultant/Director Eardley Perera. CRIB’s Deputy General Manager Janaka Lakmal also addressed the audience while a special desk saw participants registering for CRIB’s online facility for obtaining their credit reports.
