Ceylon Chamber, CB seminar on ‘Monetary Policy Program’

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce together with the Central Bank of Sri Lanka will conduct a seminar on ‘Sri Lanka’s Monetary Policy Program’, which will be addressed by Central Bank Deputy Governor Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe. The event will take place on 20 October, beginning at 3.30 p.m. at the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce auditorium at Navam Mawatha. Corporate executives, bankers, economists, exporters and importers, CEOs, finance directors, finance managers, forex dealers and whoever is interested in the subject can take part in the discussion and also pose questions to Dr. Nandalal Weerasinghe on the given topic. Dr. Weerasinghe, apart from functioning as the Deputy Governor of the Central Bank, is also the chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee of the Central Bank. He holds a PhD and a Masters’ in Economics from the Australian National University and a B.Sc. degree from the University of Kelaniya in Sri Lanka.
