Big draw at Ampara for SEC’s Investor Day

The Securities and Exchange Commission of Sri Lanka (SEC) conducted an “Investor Day” on Saturday 1 October at Monty Hotel, Ampara in order to educate investors on investing in the stock market and Unit Trusts. This was the first ever road show conducted in Ampara. A large number of new investors participated at this event which was a part of several initiatives implemented by the SEC in order to take the stock market to outstations. The programme was conducted as a part of SEC’s popular “Prathilabha” weekly TV programme which is being telecast on Rupavahini on Sundays at 10 a.m.
