ACR wins at global reinsurance awards

Young and growing Singapore-based Asia Capital Reinsurance Group (ACR) pipped other global big names to be named General Reinsurance Company of the Year at The Review’s Worldwide Reinsurance Awards in London last week.

John Tan, CEO of ACR who was in London to receive the prestigious award, said: “We will work harder to contribute to enhancing the value being provided by the industry to the community.”

ACR is also one of the finalists for the Asia Insurance Industry’s Reinsurance Company of the Year award along with Swiss Re and Munich Re.

The company has an exclusive focus on the pan-Asian region dedicated to support the rapid reinsurance growth in the region. Outside Singapore, it has presence in Hong Kong, Taiwan, India, Malaysia, Dubai and Bahrain.

Meanwhile, the Life Reinsurance Company of the Year award went to US-based RGA.
