Webxpay announces appointment of Denver Lewis as CEO/Executive Director

Webxpay, one of Sri Lanka’s leading and rapidly expanding fintech and digital payment solutions providers, has announced the appointment of Denver Lewis as its Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director, effective June 2026.

In addition to assuming executive leadership of the company, Denver Lewis has also been appointed to the Board of Directors of Webxpay, further strengthening the organisation’s strategic leadership and corporate governance framework as the company continues its next phase of growth, innovation, and regional expansion.

Piyadigama further noted that Denver has held senior leadership and international board-level responsibilities across Sri Lanka and multiple global markets, including the United States, Canada, Hong Kong, Malaysia, the Philippines, and Europe-facing operations and services environments.

Over the course of his career, he has successfully led large-scale captive and non-captive business operations, managing geographically dispersed global teams across multiple jurisdictions, business functions, and service delivery environments.

“As the payments and fintech ecosystem continues to evolve rapidly, we are confident that Denver’s leadership capabilities, people-centric approach, and strong strategic orientation will further strengthen Webxpay’s position as a trusted and forward-looking technology partner to businesses both locally and internationally,” added Piyadigama.

Denver holds several advanced academic and professional qualifications, including a Doctorate, an MBA, and professional credentials in Banking and Finance, Human Resource Management, and Management. He completed his education at St. Thomas’ College, Mount Lavinia. Webxpay continues to play a significant role in enabling secure digital commerce and payment technologies for businesses across multiple sectors, supporting Sri Lanka’s ongoing digital transformation agenda.
