Veteran banker Delvin Pereira joins Amana Bank Board

Amana Bank has announced the appointment of Delvin Pereira, a seasoned banker with over three decades of experience and strong track record, to its Board as a Non-Executive Independent Director. 

With a wealth of experience exceeding 35 years, Delvin has an illustrious career in banking, which commenced in Commercial Bank and culminated in Seylan Bank, where he held several key leadership roles before retiring as a Deputy General Manager. 

Delvin’s expertise spans across Retail Banking, Business Banking, Credit Management, Risk Management and Trade Finance. He possesses a Master’s in Business Administration from the University of Western Sydney in Australia, complemented by the qualification of Certified Management Accountant Australia. 

Beyond his professional career, Delvin has been an active social worker serving the Rotary Organisation since 1994. He has held key leadership positions within Rotary International District 3220 comprising Sri Lanka and the Maldives, and has been unanimously elected to serve as District Governor for Sri Lanka and Maldives for the period 2025/26.
