Union Assurance PLC has renewed its bancassurance partnership with Nations Trust Bank PLC, extending the arrangement under which the bank distributes the insurer’s life insurance products, the company said yesterday.
The renewed Bancassurance Partnership Agreement was signed on 14 October, 2026 following approval by Union Assurance’s Board, and builds on the two companies’ existing referral bancassurance relationship, under which the bank refers its customers to the insurer.
The company said the partnership, which is internally funded, will continue to give Union Assurance exclusive access to Nations Trust Bank’s distribution network, enabling it to offer a range of life insurance solutions tailored to the bank’s customer base.
