Prabath Perera
Vallibel Finance PLC has announced the appointment of M. Prabath U. Perera as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Perera is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Databox Technologies Ltd., a Sri Lanka-based technology solutions company. With over a decade of experience in software architecture and business strategy, he has been actively involved in driving digital innovation, particularly in the areas of education technology and customer experience.
He has led the development of Edumix, a flagship learning management and video streaming platform and was also instrumental in shaping the DP Education platform. His leadership extends to the design and delivery of scalable SaaS platforms, Al-powered analytics tools, and nationwide digital systems supporting welfare and social protection initiatives.
He holds a degree in Computational Physics from the University of Colombo and continues to deepen his expertise in cloud infrastructure, blockchain integration, and AI application development. His vision remains focused on making digital tools accessible, secure, and empowering for both institutions and individuals in emerging markets.
