Sri Lanka Insurance clinches two awards at Best Management Practices Company Awards 2024

Sri Lanka Insurance (SLIC), the largest and strongest insurance provider in Sri Lanka, was bestowed with two prestigious awards at the Best Management Practices Company Awards 2024. The awards ceremony was held on 13 March at the Oak Room, Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo. 

Organised by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka), the Best Management Practices Company Awards 2024 aim to recognise both public and private sector companies for their exceptional organisational growth and success. These awards endorse the best practices in management, highlighting leadership, policies, strategies, people management, partnerships and resources, processes, and performances during the year 2023.

Sri Lanka Insurance emerged as one of the top-ten companies honoured at the event and secured the winner’s title in the “insurance – public sector company” category. This recognition emphasises SLIC’s unwavering commitment to excellence and its dedication to fostering a performance-driven culture within the organisation.

Sri Lanka Insurance Group Chief Executive Officer Chandana L. Aluthgama commented, “Winning these awards is a testament to the relentless efforts of every member of our team.
