Sashi Schaffter

Sarvodaya Development Finance PLC (SDF) has appointed Sashi Schaffter to its Board as a Non-Executive, Non-Independent Director.

Schaffter is a UK-qualified Barrister, called to the Bar of England and Wales at the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple with Distinction. She brings multidisciplinary experience spanning legal research and financial services, with a strong focus on corporate finance and strategic advisory.

She currently serves as Vice President – Corporate Finance at First Capital Holdings PLC, where she is a member of the First Capital Advisory Services team, delivering financial and strategic solutions. Prior to this, she held the position of Apprentice Director at JXG, leading Group-level strategic planning initiatives and contributing to long-term organizational development. Sashi holds an LLB (Hons) from SOAS, University of London, and an LLM (Human Rights) from Queen Mary University of London.
