Sri Lanka Insurance Corporation Life Ltd., (SLIC Life) has partnered with DOK Solutions Lanka Ltd., a leading digital services and document digitisation solutions provider, to transform the way life insurance policies are customised, digitised and delivered to customers.

Under this partnership, DOK Solutions will provide comprehensive solutions covering life policy customisation, digital policy book generation and life policy certificate creation, supporting Sri Lanka Insurance Life’s ongoing digital transformation journey.

As part of the new initiative, customers of Sri Lanka Insurance Life will have access to a customised digital policy document, replacing the traditional printed policy book. In addition, a printed policy certificate will be issued to customers in place of the previously issued printed policy book, ensuring that the new process remains aligned with applicable regulatory and industry requirements.

The initiative represents an important step towards creating a more accessible, transparent and efficient life insurance documentation process. By moving policy documentation into a digital environment, customers will have greater accessibility to their policy information while the Company will be able to streamline documentation processes and enhance operational efficiency.

The digitalisation of policy documentation will also contribute towards Sri Lanka Insurance Life’s sustainability objectives by significantly reducing paper consumption and the associated environmental impact of producing and managing large volumes of printed policy documentation.
