HNB Finance PLC last Friday said it has attracted applications worth Rs. 4.57 billion for its Rs. 2.5 billion Rights Issue, with subscriptions received before the realisation of cheques, including applications for additional shares, exceeding the amount sought.
The company had proposed to raise almost Rs. 2.5 billion through a Rights Issue comprising 381,667,019 Ordinary Voting Shares at Rs. 5.50 each and 80,072,222 Ordinary Non-Voting Shares at Rs. 5.00 each.
The subscriptions in respect of Ordinary Voting Rights and applications for additional shares totalled 738,371,034 shares valued at Rs. 4,061,040,687.
Subscriptions for Ordinary Non-Voting Rights and applications for additional shares amounted to 102,232,594 shares worth Rs. 511,162,970.
The total value of subscriptions received before the realisation of cheques, including applications for additional shares, stood at Rs. 4,572,203,657.
HNB Finance noted that the figures represent the level of subscription prior to the realisation of cheques and include applications received for additional shares.
