Mahindra Ideal Finance PLC yesterday said it has appointed Pradeep Agrawal to its Board as a Non-Independent, Non-Executive Director.
Agrawal serves as the Chief Financial Officer, Financial Services Sector, and Key Managerial Personnel at Mahindra & Mahindra Financial Services Ltd., (MMFSL), having assumed the role in March 2025. He also serves as a Non-Executive Director on the Board of Mahindra Insurance Brokers Ltd., and Mahindra Finance USA.
He brings over 30 years of leadership experience across corporate finance, regulated financial services and large operating businesses. As CFO of Mahindra Finance, he oversees financial strategy and performance, treasury and funding, capital allocation, controllership, taxation, investor relations and regulatory financial governance.
His responsibilities extend to maintaining balance-sheet discipline, supporting business growth, and strengthening financial oversight across Mahindra Finance, its subsidiaries and JV ecosystem. His experience prior to Mahindra Finance reflects breadth across regulated financial services and large operating businesses.
He has served as Chief Financial Officer at Aditya Birla Finance Ltd. and Aditya Birla Idea Payments Bank, and has held senior finance roles at Grasim Industries, Idea Cellular and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Ltd., giving him exposure to lending, payments, telecom, manufacturing and energy sectors. He is a multi-disciplinary finance professional, qualified as a Chartered Accountant, and has cleared the Chartered Financial Analyst program, Company Secretary and Cost and Works Accountant qualifications.
