People’s Bank upgrades Athurugiriya Service Centre into fully-fledged branch

With the aim of providing a seamless digital banking experience to its customers, People's Bank upgraded its Athurugiriya Service Centre into a fully-fledged branch. The new branch was ceremonially opened to the public on 21 October, making it the 364rd People's Bank branch in the country.

Chairman Sujeewa Rajapakse, Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Ranjith Kodituwakku, Senior Deputy General Manager (Payment and Digital) K.B. Rajapakse, Deputy General Manager (Channel Management) Mahinda Premanath, Mayor of Kaduwela Municipal Council Buddhika Jayavilal, Head of Marketing Nalaka Wijayawardana, Assistant General Manager Rohini Madurawala, Assistant General Manager T.M.W. Chandrakumara, Colombo Outer Regional Manager Lal Peiris, Assistant Regional Manager Vinodani Pieris and Assistant Regional Manager Sudarma Subashini all from People's Bank, together with Branch Manager A.G. Manori and other bank officials as well as customers took part in the event.

The opening ceremony was carried out in accordance with the COVID-19 health guidelines.
