People’s Bank presents 2025 Annual Report to President

People’s Bank presented its 2025 Annual Report, themed “Rising Higher, Reaching Further”, to President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, at the Presidential Secretariat, in the presence of several distinguished senior State officials.

People’s Bank Chairman Prof. Narada Fernando, and Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Clive Fonseka, formally presented the Annual Report to the President in the presence of the Labour Minister and Finance and Planning Deputy Minister Dr. Anil Jayantha Fernando, and Treasury Secretary and Finance, Planning and Economic Development Ministry Secretary Dr. Harshana Suriyapperuma.

The 2025 Annual Report reflects a record-breaking financial performance, delivering the highest profitability in the bank’s history. This achievement underscores the bank’s enduring commitment to driving national economic growth, empowering local communities, and strengthening financial resilience across Sri Lanka.
