People’s Bank conducts ‘People’s Remittance – Kalin Avurudu Vaasi Draw 2026’

People’s Bank recently conducted the ‘People’s Remittance – Kalin Avurudu Vaasi Draw 2026,’ rewarding 50 lucky winners with packs of essential goods worth Rs. 25,000 each. The draw ceremony was held at the Overseas Customer Services (OCS) premises in Colombo 10.

The event was attended by several senior officials of the bank, including Deputy General Manager – Recoveries A.U.A. Anzar, Deputy General Manager – Retail Banking and Overseas Customer Services Aruni Liyanagunawardana, Assistant General Manager – Channel Management I.K. Indika, Assistant General Manager – OCS Buddhika Ranatungage, Chief Manager – Internal Audit S.M.D. Nandanie, and Senior Manager – OCS Thilini Perera. Department of Inland Revenue (Western Province) Senior Tax Officer N.A.S.M. Napagoda was also present.

The promotion rewarded customers who received foreign workers’ remittances through People’s Remittance directly credited to their People’s Bank individual accounts from 1 January to 31 March, offering an opportunity to win valuable gift packs in celebration of the Sinhala and Tamil New Year.

This initiative forms part of the ‘People’s Remittance Dolosmahe Vaasi Chakraya’ rewards program.
