People’s Bank Gandara branch moves to new premises

Unveiling of the commemorative plaque of the new branch by People’s Bank CEO/GM Ranjith Kodituwakku and the acceptance of a deposit from the first customer

People’s Bank Gandara branch was ceremoniously declared open by People’s Bank Chief Executive Officer/General Manager Ranjith Kodituwakku at its new location recently.

Located at No. 302C, Tangalle Road, Gandara, this branch will be offering cutting edge digital banking services to the people in the area. In addition, the Automated Teller Machine (ATM) established at the location will enable cash withdrawals 24 hours a day seven days a week. Furthermore, this branch is a model for the introduction of 5S to the Matara region.

The event was also attended by Deputy General Manager (Channel Management) Mahinda Premanath, Assistant General Manager (Channel Management) T.M.W. Chandrakumara, Assistant General Manager (Channel Management) Ganga Senanayake, Matara Regional Manager I.K. Indika, Hambantota Regional Manager Nilmini Gunawardena, Senior Legal Officer (Southern Region) Nilanthi Rubasinghe, Assistant Regional Manager Thushari Nammuniarachchi, Senior Manager (Regional Loans Unit) Nishani Pathirana, Gandara Police Station Chief Inspector Deshabandu Senaratne, Gandara Branch Manager Priyantha Ratnayaka, along with the staff and customers of the branch.
