Pan Asia Bank has brought home a major international win, securing the Gold Award at the Qorus Reinvention Awards APAC 2026, ahead of some of the region’s most established banking institutions, including leading regional players such as DBS Singapore.

Organised by Qorus, the awards recognise banks that are reshaping the future of financial services through innovation, digital transformation and operational excellence. Pan Asia Bank was recognised in the Operations & Workforce Transformation category for its in-house solution, FalconEye.

The internally developed FalconEye was a key initiative by Chief Information Officer Kanchana Devasurendra, aimed at transforming the way work gets done making it simpler, faster and more effective for teams across the bank. Solution integrates data, processes, and teams into a single intelligent platform. It helps staff make better decisions in real time, reduces manual effort and improves overall efficiency. While it works behind the scenes, the real impact is felt by customers through faster service and a more seamless banking experience.

Director/CEO Naleen Edirisinghe said: “This is a proud moment for all of us. FalconEye was built with a simple objective to make the way we work smarter and more efficient. To see that effort recognised on a global platform, and to be placed alongside leading international banks, is truly rewarding. More importantly, it motivates us to keep pushing forward and continue building solutions that create real value for our customers.”

Beyond the recognition, the award reflects a deeper shift within the bank – one that places technology, people and purpose at the centre of everything it does. It is also a strong signal of what Sri Lanka’s banking sector is capable of delivering on the global stage.
