Nishani Perera

PMF Finance PLC has appointed Nishani Perera to its Board as an Independent, Non-Executive Director.

Perera is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka with over 19 years of experience in audit, assurance, advisory, risk management, and corporate governance. She currently serves as Partner – Audit and Assurance at Moore Aiyar, Chartered Accountants, and Director of Moore Consulting Ltd.

She possesses extensive exposure to listed companies, banks, finance companies, and other regulated entities, with strong expertise in financial reporting under SLFRS/LKAS, audit and risk oversight, regulatory compliance, and quality management standards. She has actively engaged with Boards and Audit Committees in matters relating to financial reporting, internal controls, risk governance, and regulatory compliance.

Perera holds a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration (Special) from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura. She is also an Associate Member of ACCA and CMA Sri Lanka and a Fellow Member of AAT Sri Lanka. She has served on several national-level technical and governance committees of CA Sri Lanka and contributes actively to professional development and regulatory initiatives within the financial reporting and audit domains.
