  • Hosts knowledge sharing platform ‘Beyond Ordinary - Nations Business Advisory’ in Colombo

Nations Trust Bank recently hosted the Beyond Ordinary – Nations Business Advisory event, a knowledge sharing platform designed to provide businesses with timely advisory perspectives, economic insights and practical business enablement relevant to the current operating environment.

The forum brought together business leaders, and industry specialists, creating a space for informed dialogue on Sri Lanka’s macroeconomic outlook, evolving business conditions, and the opportunities emerging in the country’s next phase of growth. The keynote address was delivered by Advocata Institute Chief Executive Officer Dhananath Fernando, who shared perspectives on Sri Lanka’s macroeconomic trajectory, debt sustainability, and the transition from recovery towards expansion

In addition to the keynote address, the forum featured a panel discussion with industry experts who explored key themes including ESG compliance, global trade developments, digital transformation, operational competitiveness, and growth strategies. Discussions also covered Sri Lanka’s macroeconomic recovery path, export readiness and evolving global trade dynamics, including developments related to Free Trade Agreements.
