The National Savings Bank (NSB), has partnered with leading digital personality, Charith N. Silva, to promote digital banking adoption across the country.
This collaboration reflects NSB’s long-term vision of delivering secure, convenient, and user-friendly banking solutions aligned with modern technological advancements.
NSB said it is actively promoting its digital banking platforms to provide timely, efficient, and accessible financial solutions to all customers. It has made significant investments in modern digital technologies to ensure that the customers benefit from secure and convenient banking experiences. Through mobile banking applications, online banking platforms, and digital payment solutions, the bank enables customers to perform transactions quickly, safely, and efficiently from anywhere.
The nationwide digital banking promotion campaign, carried out with the active involvement of Silva, is scheduled to run over a period of one year. The initiative is designed to reach a broad spectrum of society, ensuring inclusive access and awareness. The campaign will specifically focus on: Communities in both urban and rural areas; the younger generation and digitally engaged users; small and medium-scale entrepreneurs and Sri Lankans residing and working abroad.
Silva is widely known as a leading figure in Sri Lanka’s digital media landscape. Through his globally recognised platform, “Wild Cookbook,” he has gained international acclaim for his unique and creative content, combining culinary storytelling with immersive outdoor experiences. His work has attracted a vast global audience and positioned him as one of the most influential Sri Lankan digital creators.
His key achievements include: Becoming the first Sri Lankan YouTuber to surpass 10 million subscribers; gaining billions of views worldwide across digital platforms; being recognised in the Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia list and showcasing Sri Lankan culture to a global audience.
