LankaPay, the operator of Sri Lanka’s national payment network, has once again demonstrated excellence in corporate reporting by securing the coveted Gold Award under the SME Category at the prestigious CA Sri Lanka TAGS Awards 2025, organised by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka.

This is the sixth occasion LankaPay has been bestowed with the highest award for its annual report.

The awards ceremony was held on 12 February 2026 at Shangri-La Colombo, bringing together leading public and private sector organisations recognised for excellence in transparency, accountability, governance, and sustainability in corporate reporting.

Winning this accolade for the second consecutive year reflects LankaPay’s unwavering commitment to maintaining the highest standards of disclosure, responsible governance, and sustainable business practices, reinforcing stakeholder confidence in the organisation’s operations and long-term vision.

Chairman Lakshman Silva said: “At LankaPay, we place significant importance on transparency, integrity, and robust governance practices. Excellence in corporate reporting reflects the strength of our institutional values and our responsibility towards stakeholders. This recognition further strengthens our resolve to uphold best practices while driving innovation within Sri Lanka’s rapidly evolving digital payments ecosystem.”

CEO Channa de Silva said: “This recognition reaffirms LankaPay’s strong commitment to reporting excellence and transparency. As Sri Lanka’s national payment network, accountability and trust remain central to everything we do in addition to our foundation of Technology Innovation. Receiving the Gold award for the sixth time for our annual report motivates us to continuously enhance our governance and reporting standards as we strive to embrace excellence across our organisation”.
