LOLC Finance PLC, has once again been recognised for its commitment to data governance, regulatory compliance, and operational excellence, securing the Gold Award for Data Management and Compliance – Data Submission Volume Category 2 at the Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka (CRIB) CEO’s Forum and Institutional Rating Awards 2026.
Category 2 represents financial institutions handling an annual data submission volume of 500,000 to 1,000,000 records.
The prestigious awards ceremony was held at The Forum, Cinnamon Life at City of Dreams, recognising exceptional performance in credit information reporting and data management across Sri Lanka’s banking and non-banking financial services sectors.
The CRIB Institutional Rating Awards are conferred following a comprehensive evaluation of financial institutions against clearly defined and measurable performance benchmarks. Institutions are assessed based on the accuracy, completeness, consistency, timeliness, and volume of credit information submitted to CRIB, together with their adherence to regulatory reporting requirements.
LOLC Finance distinguished itself through its robust governance framework, disciplined reporting culture, strong internal controls, and steadfast commitment to data integrity. The achievement reflects continuous monitoring of data quality and close collaboration across its business, operations, technology, compliance, and risk management functions, enabling the Company to maintain high standards of regulatory reporting and information management.
Presented by the CRIB, the country’s statutory credit information authority established under the Credit Information Bureau of Sri Lanka Act, the Institutional Rating Awards are regarded as one of the financial services industry’s most respected benchmarks of excellence. Determined through objective performance assessments rather than nominations alone, these awards recognise institutions that demonstrate exceptional standards in operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and responsible financial stewardship.
