LB Finance celebrates vibrant Awurudu festival

LB Finance celebrated the traditional Awurudu festival on 19 April 2024, by transforming its Corporate Office in Colpetty into a colorful village scene. The staff dressed in traditional Awurudu attire and took part in a range of cultural activities.

The festival featured lively music and dance, creating a joyful atmosphere. That evening was filled with delicious traditional Sri Lankan food. Attendees captured special moments with the 360 Glam Video Booth.

In the afternoon traditional games began, filling the event with fun and camaraderie. Most highlighted event was LB Finance’s glamorous Awurudu Kumara and Kumariya contest, judged by Alanki Kishani and Madawa Wijesinghe. This contest added excitement and elegance to the festival.

Other games like Kanamutti, Aliyata aha thabeema, balloon dance, musical chairs, and Penibambare kept everyone entertained. LB Finance’s Awurudu festival was a huge success, celebrating Sri Lankan culture and bringing the staff together.
